Richard Woon

Richard T. Woon is an associate with Silicon Valley Law Group's Real Estate & Land Use Group and also works closely with the firm's Financial Services Group. Richard's real estate work includes brokerage agreements, tax deferred exchanges, tenancy-in-common agreements, design and construction contracts, landlord-tenant matters, property disputes, title matters, easements and licenses, and related matters.  In the area of land use, Richard works on a variety of matters including general plan and zoning amendment, development agreements, subdivision and parcel maps, property tax issues, use permits, quiet title actions, condemnation issues, and so forth.  Richard has experience with many types of properties, including residential subdivisions, shopping centers, office buildings, warehouse and industrial facilities, farm and ranch lands, and apartment complexes.  Additionally, Richard handles financial matters involving foreclosures, loan work-outs and mortgage broker matters.

Prior to joining Silicon Valley Law Group, Richard was of-counsel to the Kisner Law Firm while also maintaining a real estate brokerage practice representing and advising local urban infill residential and mixed use developers on the acquisition of residential subdivision developments and commercial properties.  He also has extensive experience brokering residential real estate purchase and sale transactions and purchasing properties in foreclosure.

In addition to his real estate law practice, Richard also has experience in business law and estate planning matters.  He has advised clients on general business matters such entity formation, entity transfers, asset transfers, tax matters, licensing matters and entity dissolution.  His estate planning work includes revocable living trusts, wills, powers of attorney, family limited partnerships, irrevocable life insurance trusts, asset protection trusts, trust administrations, trust litigation, probate administrations, conservatorships, guardianships and Medi-Cal planning.
